lunch with (Sis) Jean Shupe
We had lunch with (Sis) Jean Shupe, she was a senior Sister Missionary in New Jersey. She and Colten sparked a great friendship. She used to live in Arizona and was here visiting her son and family. I had met her when she was here, before Colten finished his mission. We quickly became friends. She waited a long time to give her favorite return missionary a big HUG. I had a wonderful lunch, as they talked about New Jersey, the mission and the their memories. We adore you (Sis) Jean Shupe!

Welcome Home Elder Chad Dewey
About 2 years ago this great young man left to serve a mission in Russia. He has been a good friend and influence to Logan and Colten. He is like another one of my boys. This was Elder Chad Dewey before he left....

Make new friends, but keep the old.....
These are two of my bestest friends. They have always been there for me!
Denise and I went to High School together, but also are Michiganders.. living only miles apart when we were kids. Debbie and I have been "sisters" in the gospel for over 18 years. We have lots and lots of memories together! Thanks for being in my life!

Conference Thoughts
Easter Sunday is such a special day. I love that we get to listen to conference on that day to have the spirit with us all day long so that we can think about the true meaning of Easter, Christ's Resurrection. I love watching it. Everything about the church is so perfect and that's one thing I love about it. I am so grateful to have a living prophet on the earth today to give us counsel directly from our Heavenly Father. I know that the more valiant of God's children were saved for these hard times, because he knew that they would be able to be strong. I love my Savior and am so grateful for his sacrifice for my salvation.

Homecoming
So today was the day I got to hang the banner, and welcome another Elder Wells home! Why do missionaries, have to be the last ones off the planes? Why do they walk sooo slow, down the hallway????
After 2 long years, it was awesome to wrap my arms around his neck... and HUG him so tight... and give him a kiss... What a great feeling!
Colten and Logan together again, it has been 3 months short of 3 years since these brothers were together... aww what a neat site it was for sure!
Glad your home, well done.... Elder Colten Wells!!! New Jersey is going to miss you!
