Arrived in Kauai, AWESOME view from our condo, we stayed in Princeville. Gorgeous everywhere you looked!

Day 2

Spent the day at the PCC, loved it. Learned all about the cultural in and around the islands of Hawaii. loved this guy from Samoa, he could husk a coconut and start a fire! Wish I could climb a palm tree with just my bare feet, haha. Such cool wood carvings!

There was absolutely NO SLEEP, our first night in Hawaii... When you are from Arizona, believe me you know nothing about TSUNAMI's.. only flash floods and dust storms. The sirens were ALL night, first in english and then japanese. Oh, and just loved my arizona peeps that forgot Hawaii was 3 hours behind in time, so all the 6:00 am calls I got in Hawaii, meant that it was 3:00 am in Hawaii. Just chalked this experince to my book of lifes adventures! Wouldn't trade them for anything! Oahua, Hawaii -- A Tsunami Warning is now in effect for the state of Hawaii following an 8.9 magnitude earthquake off the east coast of Honshu, Japan. Scientists at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Ewa Beach said that based on available data, a tsunami may have been generated by the quake. They said the earliest that tsunami waves could reach Hawaii would be at 3:07 a.m. Friday at Nawiliwili Harbor on Kauai. The first waves would reach Honolulu at 3:21 a.m., Kahului at 3:27 a.m., and Hilo at 3:46 a.m. Tsunami sirens began sounding at 9:59 p.m. on Thursday. They have sounded every hour since 11:15 p.m.

I won a "blind date" contest on KNIX radio on Wednesday morning on my way to work. It was a intimate concert and lunch catered by Dave's BBQ. It was a suprise, and we were not told who it would be be until they walked in. It was a awesome group called "The Dirt Drifters". They were so good, very personable and fun. I invited Debbie to go with me, and we had a great lunch and concert. What a good way to spend a Wednesday afternoon!

Thanks Jayson, Tristan and Colten for making my Valentines Day special! The flowers, the card, chocolate, and stuffed puppy made my day! You are all awesome! It made my "heart" feel love for sure!

Colten and Zac were picked to play a game, at Joey & Brooke's dinner before their wedding. They had to take kleenex out of the box one by one with one hand. Pretty funny to watch, and they tied. So they were both winners!




Colten and Zac have been friends since they were 6 years old. It is great to be part of the Allen family!

It has been fun to share my bed for a few nights, with the little man Tristan while he and his Dad have been in town!

So fun, Jayson has a girlfriend that has 3 kids that love calling me "Granma", it is such a nice sound and they are so sweet. Thanks Tristan for making Jayson so happy!

We celebrated my Dad's birthday at Organ Stop Pizza! Fun to be together with family!

Logan and Anna made the most delicious CUPCAKES!

Jayson and Tristan came for a visit... So what did Granma and Tristan do, on my day off? We rode bikes, played in the park and Tristan rode a horse. That made for a full and fun day!
