Homecoming

So today was the day I got to hang the banner, and welcome another Elder Wells home!




Why do missionaries, have to be the last ones off the planes? Why do they walk sooo slow, down the hallway????

After 2 long years, it was awesome to wrap my arms around his neck... and HUG him so tight... and give him a kiss... What a great feeling!


Colten and Logan together again, it has been 3 months short of 3 years since these brothers were together... aww what a neat site it was for sure!

Glad your home, well done.... Elder Colten Wells!!! New Jersey is going to miss you!

March Birthdays

So the March Birthdays, have come and almost gone. It has been a month of celebrating for sure!

Zoo

So when you have a 9 year old in town, the weather is great, and you LOVE the zoo, what do you do? YEP, go to the zoo. I love our zoo!

LEMONADE

So when life gives you lemons... go see the play "LEMONADE", staring the a cast of talented kids from Barbara Bush Elementary. The best kid in the play of course was my talented nephew Klayton. He played the role of a "cow" and also "Georgie Porgie". Thanks for inviting me... loved it!

Giraffe

My friend Mark got his africa animal "stuffings" back finally. So I love love love giraffe's. Well I actually like the real ones at the zoo, and not on walls, but thought it was actually pretty cool stuffed. This giraffe is so big, just had to have a couple of pictures of it, plus one of me so you could judge the size of that beauty.

House face lift

So you know that Elder Colten Wells will be soon, so lots of things to spiff up around here... so my house got a "facelift". Yep, new paint, out with the gray trim and in with the new. I love it!

Kitchen Remodel

My kitchen needed a cabinet makeover... bad. I have never been a fan of white washed oak, it is out of style. But did I have the $$$ for new cabinets... NOT! so thanks to Nicole and her decorating sense, and a jar of stain...

Can't believe my one and only daughter is 29 years old? Time flies. Thanks for being a great daughter, Mother, and friend.

38 days and counting down!

The big day is Wednesday, March 31st, and then Elder Colten Wells will be home from serving his 2 year mission in New Jersey! We are all excited and cannot wait! Details will follow soon!

A ICE CREAM tradition

So I love to take the grandkids, oh and Logan too for ice cream. This was my last day, so I picked up the kids after school and we headed to Baskin & Robbins for some yummy ice cream. Why when it is 20 degrees would you get ice cream? Just cause we all love ice cream!

Hum, lets feed the deer, will it work?

So, I got this idea to go to the local feed store and buy some sweet feed, and see if we could feed the deer..... well guess what? It worked. They were a little apprehensive, but after some coaxing, we had them eating out of our hands. It was so neat, like being in a deer park. They were so soft and gentle.

We could not get them to eat from Tristan though, I guess they aren't used to little guys.

Urban Deer

There are deer all over the neighborhood where my family lives, like I mean everywhere, like in the yards, on the driveways, and walking down the streets. It is a neat site for sure!

Out with the OLD, and in with the NEW

So Logan has had a hard time with the snow and ice in Colorado, and his scion has had even a harder time...

So Logan decided it was time for a "new" car. How about a 2007 Acura TSX? Nice ride, son!

Colordao Fun

FAITH, just love this word!

Hum, I have become a deep thinker, and love to read and study. I love the word FAITH, and have enjoyed researching and gaining a more clearer description of it.

We know that God holds the future, and we can face tomorrow without fear. The reality of eternity, the reality of God, the faith we have in the future doesn't diminish our ability to live well in the present. The hope we have fuels our lives now, letting us experience life more completely than if we lacked such hope. "Where there is no faith in the future, there is no power in the present."

Well said.... I love the true gospel of Jesus Christ and its teachings! I am so glad to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints!
